Symptoms
Some will show little or no symptoms. But some you should look out for include:
- Pain when passing urine, or the need to pass urine more frequently
- Unusual discharge from penis, vagina or anus.
- Any of the following around the genital or anus areas rashes, warts, sores, blisters, excessive itching.
- Pain during intercourse.
- Abdominal pain.
- Women, bleeding between periods or after sex.
Not all sexually transmitted infections can be cured. However most can be treated and controlled if caught and diagnosed in time.
